PERFORMING ARTS
Cost+Plus is providing Project Management and Cost Management Services for all phase of this project which comprises approximately 50,600 gross square feet of renovations to the Alliance Theatre, new rehearsal spaces and artist support spaces.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services during certain phases of this project which comprises a first-class 145,200 gross square foot performing arts center on its existing campus. The Project includes a magnificent 1,700 seat multi-purpose theatre, grand lobby, event/rehearsal rooms, and all complimented with associated public and support spaces.

Cost+Plus is providing ongoing feasibility and cost planning services for a proposed project comprising a 500 seat Auditorium, 150 seat Studio, with associated technical and performer spaces, administration spaces, public lobby space with amenities and all having a projected gross floor area of 37,090 square feet. The Project will be contained within a proposed commercial tower development.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services for the Concept Design/Due Diligence phase of this project. The proposed project comprises 10,635 gross square feet of renovations to an existing 31,750 gross square foot building. A new addition totaling 15,755 gross square feet is also part of the project that will accommodate various rehearsal spaces for repertory orchestra, divided orchestra, Young People’s String Orchestra, and individual practice rooms for violin, flute, bass, oboe, cello, etc.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services for the early design phases of this proposed project which comprised 104,800 gross square feet of renovations. The proposed transformation removes an existing university basketball facility within the old auditorium and fully restores it back to an auditorium in keeping with the original built back in 1928. In addition, significant historic restoration/renovation work to public lobbies & circulation, public restrooms, music room suite, and other backstage support spaces is included.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services through to the end of Schematic Design for this IPD project, which is a 94,500 gross square foot facility on its College Hill campus. The building’s main lobby level will include a performance space that can have five radically different acoustic and technical configurations (Experimental Media, Recital, End Stage, Orchestra and Flat Floor configurations). Basement levels also provide for three smaller theaters, and music and dance studios.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services for all design phases of this project, which was a new 115,000 gross square feet facility dedicated to showcasing UNC’s musical theatre programs as well as being the student gateway for the university. The facility includes a 660 seat Theatre, 400 seat Multi-Purpose Hall, Art Gallery and student café.

Cost+Plus provided feasibility and concept design cost management services for this complex renovation and addition project that comprises renovations to the existing auditorium and administrative spaces together with substantial new additions to the lobby/public areas and the back-of-house/support spaces. Mechanical and electrical systems upgrades are also part of the project.

Cost+Plus provided dedicated cost management services for the concept design and schematic design phases of a proposed complex renovation of the David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. The proposed project comprised very specific and surgical demolition of the existing building and then transformative renovation work to provide for a completely reconstructed world class facility totaling 302,920 gross square feet. The new facility was to include for a first class 2,000 seat concert hall, event and pre‐event spaces, multi‐purpose room, rehearsal rooms, practice rooms, public lobby space, café/market, patron’s lounge, performer accommodations, administration, and all other associated support spaces.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services for all design phases of this project, which comprised the renovation of both the Space Theatre (Phase 1) and the Stage Theatre and other support spaces (Phase 2) within the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex. The new five-sided Space Theatre met a wide range of technical production, patron services, building code, and accessibility priorities. Phase 2 is now currently under construction.

The newly renovated Space Theatre (Phase 1) opened in 2017 with Phase 2 soon to follow.
Cost+Plus provided cost management services during the early design phases for the 15,485sf renovations to the existing historic building which also included a small 1,800sf new addition. The project comprised minor demolition to the façade with significant renovation inside the existing building.

Theatre Planning: Theatre DNA
Cost+Plus provided comprehensive Design Phase Cost Management Services for this project which comprises a 92,600 gross square foot five-venue Center for the Visual and Performing Arts with a Project budget of $60m. The new ENT Center for the Arts will house: a 750-seat theatre, a 245-seat recital hall, Gallery of Contemporary Art, 250-seat Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theatre, 85-seat Osborne Theatre, rehearsal & instructional studio space with compliment of support and office spaces.

Cost+Plus is providing comprehensive cost management services for all design phases of this project that comprises a new 40,000 gross square foot building incorporating a 350 seat main theater, 125 seat studio theatre/black box, large, small and ensemble rehearsal rooms, classrooms, administration spaces, and with all associated front-of-house and support spaces.

Cost+Plus is providing cost management services for all design phases of this significant 3-phased renovation project which comprises complex and surgical demolition, renovation, and expansion to the stunning existing hall, stage house and back-of-house spaces surrounding the stage, and to both public and production spaces. Major mechanical and electrical systems upgrades are also planned and included within the project.

The project is anticipated to begin construction in 2020 and phased over 3 years during the off-seasons.
Cost+Plus provided capital cost planning services as part of the proposed Master Plan for this project. This proposed project comprises extensive and surgical demolition to existing areas of the building with substantial new additions constructed to both the Main Street side (45,300sf) of the building lobby and the Belvedere side (24,000sf) of the building. A total renovation area of 114,800sf inside the existing building was also proposed. The result being a completely transformed facility at the Kentucky Center.
Master Planner: AMS Planning & Research Corp.
Cost+Plus provided cost management services during the design phases for the new 11,310sf performing arts building linked to 43,530sf of renovated space within existing buildings. The new addition comprises a 376-seat theatre, small gallery space, with associated public and support spaces. The extensive renovations transform the existing WFA building to provide for a new music rehearsal studio, practice rooms, classrooms, 2D and 3D studios, ceramics, with all associated support spaces.

Cost+Plus prepared a Validation Analysis Cost Report of the Concept Design for the proposed LIVE NATION Amphitheater in Charlotte, North Carolina. The proposed project comprised a new 399,700 square foot Amphitheatre including a performance stage with covered seating, large general admission lawn area with a 28,500 square foot retractable door/wall, 43,270 square foot beer garden building; and 31,800 gross square feet of terrace club suites.

Cost+Plus provided concept design cost management services as part of the overall Master Plan for this renovation project. The proposed project comprises the addition of a new performance space built within the existing facility together with new theatrical and technical equipment, additional theatre loading capabilities, a repurposed lobby space, new entry ramp, extension of elevator travel, additional dressing rooms in basement, new offices, and with a new patron experience while approaching the building.

Cost+Plus is providing comprehensive cost management services on behalf of New York Institute of Technology for their proposed new Campus Commons Building. The 88,480 gross square foot project comprises a magnificent 490 seat lecture hall, multipurpose room, café, retail/shop, student dining hall and games room with all associated front‐of‐house and support spaces.

Cost+Plus is providing comprehensive cost management services for all design phases of this project, which is a new 120,000 gross square foot cultural facility on the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. The building includes three independent theaters (499,199 and 99 seats) which can be transformed to form one single large venue on demand. Cost+Plus is still retained to provide direct Financial Consultancy Services to the Client throughout the duration of the Project.

Cost+Plus provided a cost management services for the schematic design phase of this project which comprises a new theatre within a historic power plant building. Spaces include a 450 seat theatre, rehearsal space/small performance space, donors lounge/piano bar, stack garden lounge, with all associated public and support spaces. The total area of the project is 52,700 gross square feet.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services through to the end of the Design Development phase for this project which involved construction of new 52,950 gross square foot addition to the existing facility with a further 15,545 square feet of renovation within the existing facility. The new addition will include a 400 seat theatre in the round with all associated public and support spaces for this new performance space.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services for all design phases of this 20,610 gross square foot project that comprises a new performance building including a 313 seat auditorium, flex, drama and music rooms, with all associated front-of-house and support spaces. The Performance Building is part of a new high school campus on a 26 acre site located just south of the Arts and Market districts in Bentonville town square.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services for a comprehensive concept design master plan that comprises complex renovations and significant additions including a new 550 seat multipurpose theater, expanded lobby and public Spaces, new LaFortune studio, new Westby pavilion, new administration space, and associated support spaces including a new loading dock. Major architectural, acoustical, structural, and performance renovations to the existing Chapman Hall are included together with performance and audio/visual equipment upgrades to the Williams Theatre and Doenges Theatre. A complete overhaul of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems is also included. A new façade also gives the Center a significant street presence.

MUSEUMS & ATTRACTIONS
Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services for all design phases of this project which includes a breathtaking new 87,035 gross square foot addition, a 2,770 gross square foot bridge connector to existing building, significant renovations to both the existing 1905 and 1962 historic buildings, and with a 28,685 gross square foot underground parking structure. Magnificent surrounding landscaping completes the stunning transformation of this marvelous and respected institution.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services during the design phases for this first class 45,000sf event space with breathtaking and elegant ceremony and reception halls. The design incorporates internal courtyards as part of the facility with vast gallery spaces opening out to the foyer and affording stunning views of the landscape and rolling hills beyond.

Cost+Plus is providing full owner’s representation services for Artis—Naples for their Baker Museum Expansion and Renovation Project in Naples. The Project comprises a new 17,760 gross square foot addition, complete replacement of the existing Baker Museum façade due to damage by Hurricane Irma, and 3,270 square feet of renovations to the existing museum building. The new museum entrance provides a more open public experience and visible museum entry. The first floor of the new addition includes a multipurpose performance space for lectures, rehearsals, art exhibitions and educational programs. The event space located on the second floor will accommodate ensemble performances, receptions, lectures, and exhibitions. A stunning rooftop terrace with views of the Gulf of Mexico completes this world-class facility.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services and project management assistance for this new 94,000 gross square foot facility which included 50,000 square feet of exhibits devoted to the history of college football. The exhibit spaces are located at an upper level which overlooks an exterior football field used for both interactive play and special events.

Cost+Plus is providing cost management services for all design phases of this project which includes surgical demolition, renovation, and expansion to various areas of the museum. Exhibit, public, administrative, and support spaces are all being transformed together with significant landscaping improvements.

Cost+Plus provided comprehensive cost management services for all design phases. The project comprises a new 5 story, 82,600 gross square foot state-of-art interdisciplinary engineering building located in the epicenter of the campus at the University of Florida.

Cost+Plus provided cost management services during the design phases for the 4,280sf new expansion for dining and 7,665sf of renovations to the existing lobby, dining area, servery and kitchen spaces. Temporary food service options elsewhere on campus while the new project was being constructed were also assessed.

The overall Project comprises a new 68,760 gross square foot West Conservatory; new 46,890 gross square foot Administration Building; new 33,580 gross square foot Lower Reception Suite, along with new outdoor gardens, fountains and ponds for this famous and prestigious Pennsylvania institution.

Cost+Plus provided capital cost projection services as part of the overall Master Plan for this project that proposed a 58,925sf renovation to a historic building comprising permanent exhibit galleries, temporary exhibit space, two small theaters, entrance lobby, retail, classrooms, administration, and miscellaneous museum support spaces.

Cost+Plus is providing cost management services for the design phases of this project. The new 61,500 gross square foot addition comprises a 140‐seat auditorium, two large event spaces, exhibition spaces, public lobby/restaurant, public restrooms with all associated support spaces. Areas of the existing museum are also being renovated as part of the overall project scope.
